About Partr

Built for Canadians who are tired of paying in USD

Buying PC parts in Canada is frustrating. Everything worth buying is priced in USD, listed by American sellers, and shipped across a border that adds customs fees, conversion surprises, and week-long waits. The local alternatives are full of freeform listings with no specs, no condition grading, and sellers who ghost you for three days. Partr exists because that isn't good enough.

What we stand for

CAD only. Always.

Every price on Partr is in Canadian dollars. No conversion math, no surprises, no plus customs.

Local first

Meet a real person in your city. Test the part before you pay. No shipping anxiety on a $900 GPU.

Honest listings

Standardized condition grades mean Like new actually means something here, not whatever the seller feels like typing.

Trades welcome

Cash only isn't your only option. List as trade-only, open to trade, or cash plus trade. Your call.

The story

Why we built this

Partr actually started years ago as a side project called Rigly.ca — same idea, same frustration: a place where Canadian PC builders could list and find parts without the USD tax and the cross-border headaches. Rigly never made it past the sketch phase, but the problem stuck around.

Fast forward to 2026, after one too many experiences trying to buy a used GPU — finding the right part on a US marketplace, calculating the exchange rate, realizing shipping plus customs would add another $80, then giving up and checking Kijiji only to find three listings with zero specs and photos taken in a dark basement — the itch came back. So Rigly became Partr, and this time it actually shipped.

There had to be a better way. A place where Canadian PC builders could list parts properly — with real specs, real condition grades, real CAD prices — and find buyers who are actually nearby. That's Partr.

We're early. We're small. We're building something we actually want to exist. If you're reading this and you have parts to sell or parts to find, you're exactly who Partr is for.
